“5 years ago, WIRED sent me down the Cross-Rail Tunnels to photograph the start of this massive and mostly hidden project. This Spring we went back to revisit some of the same locations that we had been to earlier, and the change was phenomenal. It’s not yet finished, but you can see what it will look like when it is.
