Alex de Mora bio
Alex de Mora is a London based photographer and director, who’s work is punctuated by a bold, colourful and raw aesthetic. Working across portraiture, fashion and documentary, his pictures are inspired by the characters he shoots. Whether conceptualising studio shoots, or working on location, bringing out the subject’s personality is the key to what makes Alex’s photographs tick. Growing up playing drums in punk rock bands, Alex's roots are deeply set in music. He has collaborated with a huge array of artists including Wu Tang Clan, Slash, Kehlani, Arctic Monkeys, MF Doom and Stormzy. Alex’s body of work is a diverse and vibrant social commentary of contemporary culture.
