“I had a great time shooting for Virgin Atlantic with food stylist Ali Nardi in London. We were asked to shoot 10 still life images of clouds becoming various foods. The ad agency championed me to decide how we should photograph the clouds so they would look as lifelike as possible. The options were to shoot in camera or to composite CGI. Even though it would be a bit more time consuming on set, I felt that we should shoot everything in camera so our clouds would look more realistic. I try to get as close to the final image as possible in camera. This saves time when making edits and getting client approvals. The only thing we had to retouch out were the various grip holding the clouds in place.” – Jenna Gang
