“I’ve been many times to Japan, my wife is from there, so its like my adopted home, a few times to China, but never Korea so I was really excited to finally catch up with the city of Seoul.

We decided to meet up at a train station close to the workshop of the Method-2 team.

I was there sharp, standing outside the station, rain was pouring, when a white car with tinted windows drove up.

I got my kit in to the trunk, and 10 silent minutes later we arrived to Method HQ..

Door opens – Holy Sh*t!!

This thing is massive, skull crusher hands of aluminium, its like the monster truck of robots, but with a purpose, this could change a lot of dangerous work situations, not only for the better, but also in a much cooler way. There are, cables upon cables computers, carbon fiber ovens, cogs, you name it, but all thoroughly organized.

Camera is set up, lights, stands, all ready to go. The test driver, climbs a ladder and gets in to the cockpit. Buckles up.

Suddenly, right arm goes up totally silent, no servo sound whatsoever, he slowly makes a fist, fingers are folding towards the palm, except one, he gives me the finger, all laughing! Who needs English when you have sign language, these are my kind of guys not holding back for a good laugh.

I’ve come across some amazing stuff over the years, but I gotta say, seeing the Method-2 brought back my child-like amazement big time, pretty much like seeing street magic performed in front of you -Man do that again, move the arm, move the leg. This thing deserves all superlatives known to man.
