The photo chosen has a real nostalgic, summer feel. Where and when was it shot?

The photo was taken in 2014. It was shot overlooking the line of boats waiting to enter the Blue Grotto in Capri.

What was the story behind shooting that day?

I was working on an exhibition of my work that was about the Island of Capri and the Amalfi Coast for Studio Trisori in Naples.

What is it that you like most about this image?

It has, as you have already mentioned, as nostalgic feel to it. The white contrasted to the dark blue sea make the image come alive.

Did you chat with any of the people in this photo? Was there anyone particularly memorable to you?

I had already been in this line, on a boat for over 90 minutes waiting to enter the grotto. What is amazing is how the boatmen know their place in the line without actually being in a line. After the tour in the grotto I got off the boat and shot people entering the grotto and then from above.
